Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build enterprise-grade microservices and modern web applications using TypeScript, AWS, and Java/Spring Boot. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions while maintaining high code quality.

Ideal candidates have hands-on TypeScript and AWS experience, strong SQL/PLSQL skills, and a track record of delivering RESTful APIs in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing applications with TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions on AWS.
• Strong experience with SQL/PLSQL for data access and database programming.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and build responsive web applications with TypeScript, AWS, and SQL/PLSQL.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Ensure application scalability, security, performance, and maintainability, writing unit, integration, and automated test cases.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, support DevOps activities, and troubleshoot production issues to provide timely resolutions.
