Job summary

The Hiring Group seeks a Senior AWS Software Engineer in Greenville, SC to design, develop, deploy, and support scalable applications using a modern AWS and TypeScript stack. You will collaborate with product owners, UX/UI teams, data partners, and other developers to deliver reliable and secure software solutions.

This role combines hands-on coding with system upgrades, CI/CD oversight, and mentoring of junior engineers.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on JavaScript/TypeScript, specifically React and Material UI, Node.js, and Git.
Experience building, deploying, and supporting applications on AWS using the Amazon technology stack.
Proficiency with automated testing (Playwright) and CI tools (Jenkins, Zephyr) and performance testing (JMeter).

Responsibilities

Design and implement features using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS technologies.
Maintain high-quality, scalable, secure code while improving performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot complex frontend, backend, and data defects; create and maintain docs, APIs, and procedures.
Develop automated testing strategies using Playwright; support DevSecOps pipelines and incident resolution.
Build data pipelines and dashboards using Databricks, SQL, Power BI, and Grafana.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions; mentor junior engineers.
