Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Annapolis, Maryland, is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS). The candidate will support the migration of hardware-based systems into the cloud, ensuring high availability and operational resilience. Responsibilities include managing AWS environments and using Infrastructure as Code for automation. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required along with substantial experience in software engineering. Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Fourteen years of experience in software development/engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field is highly desired.
• A Master's degree will be considered as additional experience.
• Required Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer).

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage AWS EC2 environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework for compliant cloud solutions.
• Leverage SRE best practices for system automation and monitoring.
