Job summary

Cognitiv is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen AWS infrastructure and scale our hybrid cloud footprint from Bellevue, WA. You will own cloud design, drive scalability, and partner with engineering to improve deployments and disaster recovery.

The role requires deep AWS expertise, 10+ years in ops or SRE, and strong scripting in Python/Bash. We offer a base salary with equity and a comprehensive benefits package, plus a hybrid work model with in-office and remote days.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure, networking, and management practices.
• 10+ years of experience in operations, software engineering, or as an SRE.
• Working knowledge of modern datacenter practices and multi-DC deployments.
• Proven experience with infrastructure as code and scripting with Python and Bash.
• Independent self-starter with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure across our AWS environment as primary owner of cloud footprint.
• Evaluate existing AWS architecture for long-term scalability and growth.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to scope projects to core requirements.
• Drive efforts to improve deployment, monitoring, and disaster recovery processes.
• Support and coordinate datacenter deployments in collaboration with the SRE team.
