Job summary

ISO New England Inc. is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team in Holyoke. You will design cloud architectures, guide DevOps teams, and ensure alignment with IT tenets.

The role requires 7+ years in software development and AWS, 5+ years in solution architecture, strong communication, and hands-on Terraform. Hybrid work with relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant areas.
• 7+ years’ experience in software development and designing and implementing solutions with AWS services including serverless computing and IaC (Terraform).
• 5+ years’ experience as a solutions architect or experience providing cloud architecture guidance and technical direction to developers.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud architectures that meet business requirements and align with IT tenets (Efficiency, Reliability, Security, Cost Effectiveness).
• Collaborate with development teams to evaluate needs and provide architectural guidance on patterns and services.
• Define standards and best practices, create reference architectures, promote re-use.
