City Electric Supply is seeking a Senior AWS Software Engineer to join the City IT Integrations team. You will build enterprise-grade, serverless applications that connect CES's internal systems and third-party services across 1,000+ branches worldwide.

You will mentor engineers, participate in code reviews, and own high-risk projects demanding reliability and precision. The role emphasizes strong TypeScript development and extensive AWS expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with TypeScript
• Hands-on AWS serverless experience in a microservices environment
• Experience mentoring or leading engineers in a cross-functional team
• Proficiency with AWS tooling and DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AWS serverless solutions and enterprise-grade applications using TypeScript
• Guide and mentor the engineering team through code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with internal systems and third-party services for seamless integration
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy
• Maintain high engineering standards, apply SOLID and REST principles, and drive reliable delivery
