Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in AWS serverless technologies: Lambda, SQS, RDS, Step Functions.
• Proficiency in TypeScript; Python or Java a plus.
• Strong OO and FP programming knowledge.
• Experience leading technical discussions and code reviews.
• CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions familiarity.
• Ability to scale and tune services for performance.
• Knowledge of various databases (relational, NoSQL, caching).
• Experience building OpenSearch indexes.
• Hands-on use of AI tools to accelerate development and review processes.
• Commitment to high-coverage unit testing and quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using TypeScript on AWS serverless platforms.
• Lead technical discussions and collaborate on architecture and implementation strategies.
• Create workflow diagrams and technical documentation for development and operations.
• Debug and resolve production issues using CloudWatch logs and Datadog.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, upholding coding standards.
• Build OpenSearch indexes to support robust natural language search.
• Leverage AI tools to assist in development, review, and test generation.
• Maintain high unit test coverage across services.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Apply CI/CD concepts with GitHub Actions.
