Qualifications

• 14–15+ years of software development/cloud engineering experience preferred.
• Extensive hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong Python development experience, typically 5+ years.
• Hands-on AWS Lambda experience.
• Experience with AWS Step Functions.
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) experience.
• Strong API development experience.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Strong CloudWatch experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and architecture.
• Strong system design knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong backend development experience.
• Ability to continue writing code hands-on in a senior/lead/architect capacity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and backend services.
• Write production-quality code in Python on a daily basis.
• Develop and maintain AWS cloud-native applications.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable cloud solutions.
• Develop APIs and event-driven applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and cloud issues.
