ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an experienced AWS Identity Engineer to lead enterprise-wide identity standardization and migration across cloud accounts. You will consolidate legacy identity providers, map users and roles, and coordinate Windows/Linux AD and WorkSpaces migrations with security and operations teams.

The role requires deep IAM expertise, AD/LDAP knowledge, and strong planning/leadership skills for complex cutovers, in a large federal-like enterprise

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 12+ years IT experience with 5+ years cloud engineering and 3+ years IAM for enterprise-scale environments.
  • Professional-level cloud certification in AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
  • Expert-level AWS IAM, account access controls, identity federation, and cloud-native identity services.
  • Deep knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, domain consolidation and migration, GPO administration, and identity integration.
  • Experience planning and executing complex migrations with validation and cutover management.
  • 5+ years administering Windows and Linux in engineering/support roles.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical execution of an enterprise AWS identity standardization initiative.
  • Design and consolidate legacy identity providers into a single enterprise platform.
  • Plan and manage AD and domain migrations for Windows and Linux EC2 instances.
  • Map and validate users, groups, roles, permissions, and service accounts across ~20 cloud accounts.
  • Oversee AWS WorkSpaces rebuilds and migrations in line with the target identity provider.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Group Policy Objects for WorkSpaces and EC2.
  • Develop migration runbooks, cutover plans, rollback procedures, and post-cutover support.
  • Provide leadership and coordination throughout migration planning, testing, and operations transition.
