Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking a Senior AWS Full Stack Engineer to join a team supporting enterprise applications in the financial services industry.

You will develop and enhance scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, and AWS in a hands-on role. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack experience, robust AWS knowledge, and practical experience with GenAI AI tools as part of the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience, preferably supporting large scale enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong front end development experience with Angular.
• Working proficiency with Python for application development, automation, or AI related use cases.
• Strong hands on experience developing and deploying applications on AWS.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
• Practical experience using GenAI/AI development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
• Understanding of LLMs, LLM APIs, and agentic/agent based workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Git based development, and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to work independently, solve complex technical problems, and take ownership of development initiatives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Financial services or other large enterprise application experience is a plus.
