Job summary

Ciklum is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Poland on a full-time basis. You will design and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform, with a strong emphasis on IaC and automation.

In this role you will manage EKS/Kubernetes platforms, build reusable modules, and implement security best practices while collaborating with Engineering and Platform teams to deliver cost-effective cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years designing and deploying AWS infra with Terraform.
• Proven ability to develop reusable Terraform modules in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years hands-on with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support secure, highly available AWS cloud infra for prod and dev.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform as the primary tool.
• Build Terraform modules and enforce IaC best practices.
• Operate and optimize Amazon EKS/Kubernetes platforms for containerized apps.
• Automate provisioning and deployments with GitHub Actions, Argo CD, CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply AWS security best practices: IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, patching.
• Monitor health with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana; on-call rotation participation.
• Develop automation with Python/Go/Bash; collaborate across teams; document runbooks.
