Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer IV to join the Quant Analytics Platforms team. You will operationalize cloud-native AWS systems at scale, enabling greenfield analytics infrastructure across trading desks globally.

You will automate tasks with Terraform/Terragrunt, deploy via Helm on EKS, and optimize CI/CD, monitoring, and security in a regulated enterprise environment. Hybrid remote work up to three days per week supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with cloud-native AWS systems at scale.
• Experience automating operational tasks using IaC tools (Terraform/Terragrunt) and Helm for Kubernetes deployments.
• Strong skills in CI/CD optimization, monitoring, and alerting.
• Knowledge of security best practices in regulated enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with distributed storage and network concepts (VPC, Route53, IAM, EC2).

Responsibilities

• Automate operational tasks using IaC (Terraform/Terragrunt) and Helm for Kubernetes.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Ensure platform high availability and reliability.
• Implement observability and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, AlertManager, OpenTelemetry).
• Apply security best practices in enterprise regulations.
• Troubleshoot issues in test and production environments.
• Stay current with industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
