Job summary

E-Solutions is actively seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer for a contract onsite role in Bridgewater, NJ. You will design, build, secure, and scale data pipelines, data warehouses, and automated ETL workflows on AWS, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

You will optimize data architectures, perform data quality audits, and maintain runbooks while ensuring visa eligibility and on-site presence in Bridgewater.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, and cloud analytics.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS data ecosystem and cloud services.
• Proficient SQL, Python, ETL pipeline development, and distributed computing.
• Experience provisioning, configuring, and managing data warehouses and data lakes.
• Database design, performance tuning, and query optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and automated ETL/ELT workflows on AWS.
• Author robust, high-performance data processing scripts and SQL queries.
• Build, maintain, and optimize distributed big data analytics clusters and data pipelines using cloud compute and storage services.
• Administer, secure, and optimize cloud storage, data lakes, and compute resources across AWS.
• Implement DevOps practices, version control workflows, and automated deployment pipelines for data apps.
• Conduct data analysis, debugging, performance optimization, and query tuning on large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional software engineering, data science, and business analytics squads.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of data schemas, pipeline architectures, and runbooks.
