Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect- JCC2

Position Details

• Full Time, Remote (San Antonio-based individuals preferred)
• Secret clearance required
• Contingent upon contract award

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide subject matter expertise in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions that meet government technical and business requirements.
2. Support process improvement, conduct specialized studies, and define technical requirements.
3. Ensure cloud infrastructures are efficiently designed, maintained, and scalable to meet increasing demand.
4. Protect cloud environments against threats, vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security standards.
5. Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of cloud resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in web applications, systems integration, and cloud technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• At least 3 years of recent experience with DoD AWS unclassified, secret, and top-secret cloud environments, microservices, and container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EKS).
• Secret clearance and IAT II certification required.
• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS SysOps Administrator Associate, or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty (at least two required).
