Job summary

Leidos Inc. is seeking a Senior AWS Cyber Engineer to support Cloud One Architecture and multi-cloud environments for USAF missions. You will design, deploy, and maintain authorization packages, leverage ACAS/Nessus and AWS Security Hub, and coordinate against STIGs and RMF requirements.

You will work onsite near Hanscom AFB, Boston, MA, engaging with stakeholders, mentors junior staff, and ensuring system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness in a critical mission context.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II baseline certification
• AWS Certified Security - Specialty
• ACAS Certified - Supervisor/Operator
• Hands-on with AWS cloud security tooling and STIG implementation

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain RMF/ATO artifacts for AWS SIPRNet environments
• Serve as SME for IT stakeholders on cybersecurity requirements and tooling
• Operate and remediate with ACAS/Nessus, AWS Inspector, and AWS Security Hub
• Monitor logs with CloudTrail, AWS Config, GuardDuty, and related services
• Prepare vulnerability reports and POA&M, and sustain ATO
• Coordinate patch and remediation activities; ensure STIG compliance
• Provide mentorship and oversee junior staff
