Assured is seeking a Staff Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement and manage secure cloud infrastructure in an AWS environment. You will work with engineering, IT, and compliance to identify risks and ensure scalable security practices across CI/CD pipelines and applications.

The role requires Terraform expertise, IAM mastery, and experience with endpoint security tools, audits, and threat monitoring in cloud environments. Strong scripting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud security engineering with AWS focus.
• Expertise in Terraform and IaC.
• Strong IAM knowledge and permission models.
• Experience with endpoint security tools and strategies.
• Security best practices: network segmentation, encryption, logging.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR and/or HIPAA.
• Strong scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell, TypeScript.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration.
