Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, DevOps, automation, networking, and cloud security.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable AWS infrastructure. This onsite six-month contract in Lutz, FL requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 7–10+ years of experience, with pay up to $90/hour.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of cloud engineering experience.
• AWS infrastructure expertise.
• Terraform IaC and automation experience.
• DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Python and/or PowerShell scripting.
• Strong networking and security knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure with IaC.
• Manage EC2, S3, EBS, and load balancing.
• Configure VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPNs.
• Implement governance with IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty.
• Develop Terraform configurations and deployment workflows.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Automate provisioning with AWS CLI, Python, or PowerShell.
• Monitor with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Systems Manager.
• Apply CAF and Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Maintain documentation and security best practices.
