Job summary

Sirius Staffing seeks an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and secure enterprise AWS infrastructure in Lutz, FL. The role focuses on hands-on AWS services, Terraform, IaC, DevOps, automation, networking, and cloud security.

The ideal candidate will manage EC2, S3, VPCs, IAM, and monitoring, while delivering scalable, secure solutions with cost awareness. Excellent collaboration and problem-solving are required.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of IT infrastructure or cloud engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on AWS infrastructure and networking experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform, IaC, Git, and CI/CD automation.
• Experience scripting with Python, PowerShell, or AWS CLI.
• Knowledge of AWS security, IAM, governance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud architecture and multi-account environments.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, EBS, load balancing).
• Configure and manage AWS networking (VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPN).
• Develop and automate deployments using Terraform and IaC.
• Implement DevOps practices, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate cloud operations using Python, PowerShell, and AWS CLI.
• Manage AWS security and governance using IAM, Organizations, Control Tower, Security Hub, GuardDuty.
• Configure SSO, MFA, federation, and cross-account access.
• Monitor and troubleshoot using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Systems Manager, AWS Backup.
• Support landing zones, disaster recovery, resiliency, cost optimization.
• Apply Well-Architected Framework and CAF best practices.

Position Summary : The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with AWS services, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ), DevOps, automation, networking, and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, EBS, and load balancing.

• Develop and automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform and IaC .
• Implement DevOps practices, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate cloud operations using Python, PowerShell, and AWS CLI.
• Manage AWS security and governance using IAM, Organizations, Control Tower, Security Hub, and GuardDuty.
• Configure SSO, MFA, federation, and cross‑account access.
