Job summary

Stratacent is seeking a Mid/Senior Application Developer to design and implement microservices on AWS EKS. You will build REST APIs, integrate DynamoDB, MongoDB, Snowflake, and AWS DSQL, and support data privacy governance using Informatica CDGC and OneTrust.

You should have 5+ years of backend development with Python/Java, solid AWS/Kubernetes experience, and a strong focus on secure, scalable cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience at mid/senior level.
• Strong backend development in Python and/or Java.
• Proven experience building microservices and REST APIs in production.
• Hands-on experience with AWS EKS / Kubernetes.
• Experience with DynamoDB, MongoDB, Snowflake, and AWS DSQL.
• Solid AWS fundamentals including IAM and security basics.
• Experience or familiarity with data privacy/governance tools such as Informatica CDGC and OneTrust.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices following cloud-native patterns.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs; define API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Deploy and operate services on AWS EKS; manage containers and config.
• Apply Kubernetes best practices: health checks, autoscaling, rolling deployments.
• Integrate microservices with databases and data platforms (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Snowflake, AWS DSQL).
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE on CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Implement observability: logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards; monitor security.
• Support data privacy/governance efforts with Informatica CDGC and OneTrust.
