Job summary
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Architect to lead cloud-based solution design and implementation in Ashburn, VA. You will collaborate with architects and engineers to develop, test, and deploy AWS/GCP components within a DevOps framework, utilizing Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Responsibilities include modernizing IT infrastructure, building container apps, and navigating security clearance requirements while leveraging Terraform, Ansible, and IaC tooling to automate
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with a cloud environment.
- Experience with DevOps methods and practices.
- Experience with Cloud development, migration, or implementation using AWS or GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design, define, develop, test, and debug Cloud solution components.
- Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS/GCP to deliver solutions.
- Build and manage container apps within a DevOps framework; use Kubernetes for orchestration.
- Modernize legacy platforms or build new ones from scratch to meet client missions.
