Responsibilities

• Identify trade discrepancies and expedite escalation of trade breaks to various Commodities Trading desks.
• Help to resolve trade breaks between trade capture systems and clients, brokers and exchanges/FCMs.
• Reconciliation of exchange-traded positions between trade capture systems and exchanges.
• Reconciliation of OTC bilateral trades between trade capture systems and clients and brokers.
• Perform regulatory controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Research and resolve complex trade flow issues in a timely manner.
• Advise Front Office on complex trade structures and assist with new product setups.
• Work with Front Office, Financial Control, Operations and Technology teams to ensure trades are captured correctly.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and train new joiners.
• Produce metrics/KPI and senior management reporting as needed.
• Identify areas for improvement and drive changes to enhance controls.
• Contribute to key projects related to trade life cycle, process improvements, risk mitigation.
• Assess risk and uphold Citi policies, escalating control issues with transparency.
