Job summary

NewSpring is seeking an AVL Engineer to support live worship and productions. You will work with the production team on FOH, and assist in video and lighting tasks while helping manage AVL equipment on campus.

The role requires an AV-focused degree or equivalent training, plus 4–6 years of large-venue AVL experience; forklift/aerial lift certification is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position at a worship venue in Wichita.

Qualifications

• College degree or specialized training in Audio/Visual Technology.
• 4–6 years in ministry or large-venue AVL roles preferred.
• Experience with FOH, lighting, and video systems required.

Responsibilities

• Provide FOH engineering during services and events.
• Assist with on-campus AVL equipment maintenance and operation.
• Support purchases of AVL gear with supervisor approval.
• Assist in planning AVL technology needs from concept to completion.
• Help recruit and train the live production volunteer team.
