Varstaff Staffing is seeking an Avionics Technician V, a Level 5 SME in Aircraft ISR integrations. You will mentor juniors and lead avionics maintenance per FCC, FAA, and company regulations, overseeing installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics components.

The role demands hands-on harness assembly, aircraft modification, and connector termination to ensure proper integration of complex systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Higher degrees or equivalent experience can replace this requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise avionics maintenance and technicians.
• Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics components per regs.
• Maintain test equipment, tools, and manuals.
• Oversee harness assembly, harness routing, and connector termination.
• Perform and supervise wire routing per drawings.
