Moog Avionics is seeking a Principal Avionics Systems and Flight Test Engineer to lead design, integration, and flight testing of advanced cockpit solutions for fixed and rotary wing aircraft. You will guide multiple projects, supervise teams, and ensure certification readiness, following FAA processes and safety standards.

The role requires extensive avionics expertise, leadership in systems development, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of fifteen years related avionics experience.
• Knowledge of the FAA certification processes.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and flight test complete avionics systems.
• Lead projects and coordinate multiple customer initiatives.
• Review requirements and translate to conceptual design.
• Perform system/software integration and testing.
