Job summary

Jobtailor in Warner Robins, GA is seeking a senior Systems Engineer to provide expert guidance across planning, design, integration, and verification of complex air system hardware and software. You will translate customer needs into specifications, support hardware/software development, and participate in reviews and audits such as PDRs, CDRs, and FATs, while maintaining TS/SCI eligibility.

Candidates should have advanced engineering degrees and extensive DoD/ISR/SOF experience; ABET

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field with ten years of experience, five of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, five of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
• Must have an ABET-accredited engineering program for degree requirements (e.g., electrical, mechanical, aerospace).
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI must be obtainable and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and assistance with systems engineering processes across planning, analysis, design, configuration management, development, integration, verification and validation, and cost and risk.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Work with design, development, and test teams in support of advanced software/hardware efforts.
• Provide highly technical expertise and guidance in solving complex engineering problems.
• Perform in all phases of hardware development, integration/implementation, and analysis.
• Participate in hardware evaluations.
• Develop standards and guidelines for tasks being performed.
• Develop technical requirements based on operational scenarios for highly complex systems/subsystems including Tailored Airworthiness Certification Criteria (TACC) or modification of criteria in MACC.
• Participate in TIMs, PDRs, CDRs, PCAs, FCAs, FATs, and CCB/AW.
