Job summary

L2 Aviation Solutions, LLC in Erlanger, KY, is seeking an experienced Aircraft Systems Design and Integration Engineer to lead design, integration, and testing of electrical and avionics systems across multiple aircraft platforms.

You will create CAD-based integration drawings, develop system requirements, evaluate new technologies, and provide on-site technical support during modifications and certification efforts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of avionics experience with commercial and business aircraft.
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• A&P or AET license/certification with current experience.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft blueprints, schematics, drawings, and documentation.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, implement, test, and support electrical and avionics systems across aircraft platforms.
• Create integration drawings and designs using CAD tools.
• Develop System Requirement Documents and engineering documentation.
• Evaluate new technologies and assess risks to improve designs.
• Support remote and on-site modification and certification activities.
• Coordinate testing and troubleshoot systems during installation and modification.
• Maintain engineering files and project documentation.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for DER review.
• Travel as needed for on-site support domestically and internationally.
