Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, is seeking a Senior CS Sales Specialist for Avionics at Savannah or other Gulfstream locations. You will lead quoting efforts, coordinate with internal teams, and engage customers to define work scope. Travel to customer sites is required at times.

Strong avionics background and excellent communication are essential. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Certification to ensure accurate labor

Qualifications

• Gulfstream Avionics experience highly preferred.
• Experience with Gulfstream G650 through G800 aircraft preferred; understanding of Avionics installations and modifications including Connectivity and Cockpit systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of quoting and estimating processes for Gulfstream installations and modifications.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience prioritizing workloads and coordinating team activities to ensure accurate deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership within the sales organization to ensure professional work environment.
• Generate proposals and standard products with detailed pricing and work descriptions for customer aircraft or components.
• Collaborate with sales and new business development to promote new programs.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Certification, and other teams to ensure labor hours and prices are accurate.
• Interface with customers to define work scope and assist in selections; may involve direct interface with owners.
• Travel to customer facilities to assess work to be performed.
• Develop standard product offerings and quotation processes for consistent future quotes.
• Stay updated on inspection requirements, FAA issues, and certification requirements.
