Phenix Space (Neo ‘25) is seeking a senior avionics hardware engineer to lead interfaces and hardware decisions across multidisciplinary teams responsible for architecture, board design, bring-up, and environmental testing of space-ready electronics.

The role requires a seasoned developer with deep experience in embedded C/C++ and Python, complex PCB design, and hands-on debugging, in a setting that spans hardware and flight support across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years owning electrical or avionics hardware through its lifecycle.
• Complex schematic and PCB design experience.
• Hands-on bench debugging.
• Embedded C/C++ and Python skills.
• Familiarity with low-level buses and actuation.
• U.S. person status for export-control compliance.
