Reliable Robotics Corporation in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Sr Avionics Hardware Engineer to lead development of electrical components and subsystems for airborne and test platforms.
You will design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot hardware from circuit boards to integrated systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving hardware improvements through bench and on-aircraft testing; travel 10% may be required.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experienceAbility to work within a team, including excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to methodically diagnose, document, and solve electronic hardware problems5+ years of full-lifecycle hardware development experience in a professional environmentExperience developing and simulating complex and manufacturable printed circuit board assemblies using tools such as Altium Designer and SPICEWe’re looking for someone who is diligent and detail-oriented who can join our team and make an immediate impactMust be willing to travel 10% of the timeExperience with aviation development assurance standards (e.g. RTCA/DO-254 for Level A/B items or equivalent)Advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer engineeringExperience designing electronics to meet rigorous environmental standards (aerospace, military, automotive, or harsh industrial)Deep expertise in high-speed digital design, mixed-signal design, RF design, and/or power electronics designProficiency with Python and/or MATLAB for analysis, data review, and test setup scriptingAbility to work both independently and as a leader of a high performing team
