Job summary

Starpath Robotics Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Starmine team, focusing on design, analysis, and qualification of avionics systems for space applications across product lines.

The role involves owning systems from requirements to deployment, performing trade studies, defining qualification criteria, and validating hardware in simulated launch and lunar environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience developing electrical systems for space applications.
• Experience with electrical board design (schematic capture, PCB layout, electrical circuit simulation).
• Experience with electrical testing, equipment and setup (multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, data acquisition).
• Strong technical communication and the ability to work in a fast paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Own systems, subsystems, and components from requirements to deployment.
• Conduct trade studies and first-order analyses to define system requirements.
• Determine qualification testing criteria in accordance with spaceflight testing standards.
• Validate systems, subsystems and components via testing in simulated launch/Lunar surface environments.
• Work cross-functionally with adjacent teams to incorporate electrical, thermal, and software requirements while meeting integration timelines and system milestones.
