Job summary

Bee Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Avionics Engineer in Savannah with 15+ years of avionics experience to lead complex integration efforts, drive innovative methods, and ensure DO-178/DO-254 compliant certification across lab and flight testing.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, performing root cause analysis, and supporting R&D initiatives for new avionics technologies in Gulfstream aircraft programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline (Master's preferred).
• 15+ years of avionics engineering experience.
• Strong experience in Avionics System Integration.
• Hands-on experience with DO-178 and DO-254 processes.
• Experience with System Integration Lab (SIL) and/or aircraft functional testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex engineering assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects involving complex avionics system integration.
• Develop innovative engineering methods, technologies, and processes.
• Perform technical research and resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Support system integration, laboratory testing, and aircraft functional testing.
• Analyze and determine root cause of system functional issues identified during lab and flight testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership.
• Support R&D initiatives and promote new avionics technologies.
• Ensure compliance with engineering and certification requirements.
