Job summary

Credence has an immediate opening for a Senior Avionics Engineer to support the B-2 Division at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role focuses on modernization, test, production, fielding and sustainment of B-2 aircraft and related systems in a high-demand, low-density fleet.

The engineer will integrate avionics subsystems, manage CNS/ATM requirements, assist in certification, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mission success and airworthiness.

Qualifications

• Top-Secret clearance may be required.
• ABET-accredited advanced degree requirements apply for engineering leadership roles.
• Significant DoD experience and domain knowledge may be required for this senior Avionics Engineer position.

Responsibilities

• Avionics Integration Engineer with emphasis on data link, position location, display, interphone, and identification systems.
• Define and verify CNS/ATM requirements, testing, and certification.
• Support platform software requirements, mission planning, and security controls for information assurance.
• Coordinate with government, prime contractor, and subcontractors on security, frequency management, and interoperability.
• Perform system analyses, requirements trade studies, and document results.
• Support airworthiness certification activities and compliance with MIL-HDBK-516 criteria.
