Job summary

Astranis is seeking a senior hardware design engineer to architect, design, and develop space-grade electronics for satellite operations. You will lead design from concept to qualification, gather requirements, and select components, while ensuring manufacturability in collaboration with contract manufacturers.

The role requires 8+ years in board-level hardware design and experience with radiation-tolerant electronics, analog/mixed-signal circuitry, and embedded systems.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in electrical or computer engineering or a similar technical degree.
• 8+ years of professional experience in fast-paced product design cycles.
• 8+ years of experience in board-level hardware design from concept through production.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
• Knowledge of radiation effects and environmental testing.
