Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Lead Technician, Avionics and Electronics for the Hartford area on the Evening shift. You will troubleshoot and repair aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic systems, document work, and support other maintenance disciplines.

You should have 8+ years of avionics experience, 2+ years in corporate jets, 1 year with Bombardier models, and relevant certifications (A, P, A&P or Repairman). Leadership and planning are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years avionics work experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years corporate/commercial jet experience.
• Minimum 1 year Bombardier aircraft model experience.
• A Certification, P Certification, A&P Certificate or Repairman Certificate.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and strong planning skills.
• Familiarity with Bombardier aircraft systems installations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment.
• Adhere to Bombardier work requirements and safety policies.
• Assist with service orders using SAP or similar systems.
• Provide accurate time estimates and complete documentation.
• Train, coach and support other employees as needed.
• May assist in engine/APU runs and off-site maintenance locations.
