Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Certified Product Engineer to lead the development and certification of the Sensor Electronics unit for the NGI program. You will collaborate on cross-functional teams, participate in engineering reviews, and drive issue resolution through root-cause analyses.

The role requires a strong electronics background, aerospace experience, and excellent communication skills. On-site with a 9x80 schedule at the Lockheed Martin Space facility, near Sunnyvale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience in development of Analog or Digital Electronic circuitry.
• Experience as a Responsible Engineer or technical lead of analog and/or digital electronics.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and certification of a supplier avionics product.
• Participate in engineering reviews, EMRB hardware discrepancy decisions, and FRB as required.
• Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Support generation of End Item Data Package for Product Certification, and integration of assemblies into next higher assembly.
• Manage risk and identify mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives.
