Qualifications

• 15+ years of power, digital, and analog electronics design including schematic capture, PCB layout, analysis, and testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Design proficiency with voltage regulators, FPGAs/SoCs, high-speed data interfaces, precision analog instrumentation, and clocking architectures.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and layout of complex PCBs.
• Capability to perform circuit simulations and analysis in SPICE, Excel, and similar tools.
• Proficiency with basic electronic lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, and soldering tools.

Responsibilities

• Support avionics system architecture and requirements development, analysis, and trade studies.
• Own mixed signal PCBA development from concept through qualification and flight.
• Develop PCBA requirements, architectures, and con-ops with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout of complex power, digital, and analog PCBs using Altium Designer.
• Conduct circuit analysis including power integrity, signal integrity, SWaP optimization, and reliability assessments.
• Lead PCBA design verification testing, qualification testing, and system integration testing.
• Lead design reviews for interdisciplinary audiences, clearly communicating tradeoffs and design intent.
• Support manufacturing, integration, and flight operations as needed.
