Job summary

Real Time Consulting, Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Systems Engineer - Avionics Display Applications to contribute to development, integration, and verification of core Displays Apps on the Next Generation Avionics Platform. You will plan and execute goals, and craft innovative solutions for complex aviation software issues.

The role requires 5+ years in avionics systems development, MBSE, ARINC 661 graphics, and test-case creation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems, Computer Science, or other related technical areas (required).
5+ years of experience in Systems development for avionics (required).
Knowledge of systems/software requirements development (required).
Knowledge of systems/software validation and verification (required).
Knowledge of systems/software integration (required).
Experience developing avionics display systems (required).
Model-based system design (required).
Arinc 661 graphics development (required).
Experience creating test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements (required).
Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices (required).
Knowledge of system certification requirements and documentation (required).
Strong written and verbal communication skills (required).
Good interpersonal skills (required).
Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts (required).
Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done (required).
Ability to make autonomous decisions (required).
Experience coordinating with cross-functional design teams (required).
