Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Certification Engineer to lead certification efforts for avionics systems and equipment. You will mentor junior engineers, help with work estimates and project schedules, and coordinate with aftermarket and product program teams to support certification strategies with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 5 years’ experience in the development and certification of avionics systems & equipment.
• A US Citizen or permanent resident due to export control and ITAR restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior Certification Engineers; estimate work and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Aftermarket and Product Program managers; support technical and certification strategy discussions with customers and internal Honeywell Aerospace stakeholders.
