Job summary

Argotec is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer - Avionics System in the United States to lead and coordinate design, development, and testing for space avionics systems. You will work with Argotec’s US team and collaborate with the Italy headquarters on complex projects for micro-satellites.

The role requires extensive space systems expertise, hardware architecture know-how, and EMC/EMI design focus. You will report to the Head of Engineering and help drive multi-disciplinary efforts across

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field required.
• 14+ years of relevant professional experience.
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency required.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Proposal support for Avionics and Electrical systems.
• Assessing system performance, design trades, and evaluating system effectiveness.
• Review of electrical schematics, layout, and manufacturing specifications.
• Definition of board-level hardware architectures and EEE parts selection.
• Definition and execution of Avionics testing.
• Development and management of subsystem specifications.
• Preliminary subsystem/component validation through analysis and simulations.
• Support to other company’s functional areas.
