Job summary

CNA Corporation is hiring for a part-time on-call Sr. Aviation Test & Evaluation Expert located at NAS Pt. Mugu, California.

The role involves creating and reviewing air vehicle and weapons test designs, planning, and proposing program changes to fit client needs. The incumbent will leverage Navy test-range experience to speed test planning integration at client sites and advise leadership on E&T issues. The position requires a Master's degree in a related technical field, 18+ years of military

Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field; military Test Pilot School preferred.
18 years of cumulative experience in military flight testing, naval aviation operations and military air system acquisitions.
Experience leading flight test organizations and coordinating test programs.
Active Top Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

Works independently at client site(s) to ensure project designs and test plans are feasible and integrated with supporting test sites.
Uses Navy developmental and operational test experience to facilitate integrated test program implementation.
Advises CNA leadership and partners with project directors to coordinate with sponsoring organizations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
