Job summary

Metric Geo seeks a Senior Aviation Project Manager in Cincinnati, OH to lead complex airport infrastructure programs from planning through closeout. The role is client-facing, requiring coordination of multidisciplinary teams and management of scope, schedule, budget and quality to FAA-compliant standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in aviation engineering or project management, a PE is preferred, and experience with airport environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aviation management or related field.
  • 5+ years in aviation engineering or project management.
  • Experience delivering airport or airfield infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of FAA requirements and active airport environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage aviation projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
  • Deliver projects in line with scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations.
  • Act as the main contact for airport clients, airlines and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, design and construction teams.
  • Oversee airfield, terminal, hangar, utility and landside infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA standards and airport operational requirements.
  • Manage project financials, risks and construction phasing.
  • Support proposals, client development and new business opportunities.
  • Mentor junior project managers and technical staff.

Senior Aviation Project Manager | Cincinnati, Ohio

Metric are looking to speak with experienced aviation professionals regarding a Senior Aviation Project Manager opportunity with an established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Cincinnati.

This is a client-facing leadership role responsible for managing complex airport infrastructure projects from initial planning and design through construction and closeout. The position also offers the opportunity to support business development, strengthen client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of an aviation practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage aviation projects from planning and design through construction and closeout
  • Deliver projects in line with scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations
  • Act as the main contact for airport clients, airlines and project stakeholders
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, design and construction teams
