Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Aviation for its Aviation team in Raleigh, NC.

The role involves leading the design and delivery of complex aviation infrastructure, including airfield layout, pavements, grading, and terminal site development, ensuring FAA and local standards are met. The successful candidate will oversee a multidisciplinary team, mentor EITs, and collaborate with owners and subconsultants from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of civil engineering experience with aviation focus.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with FAA design standards (ACs).
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as design lead for airfield civil construction projects with EITs and team members.
• Oversee and mentor EITs in grading, pavement, marking, and airport design components.
• Coordinate with owners, internal staff, and subconsultants through the project lifecycle.
• Present design concepts and solutions during client reviews.
• Lead design during bidding and participate in construction inspection and oversight.
