Job summary

STV is seeking experienced Project/Program Managers for Aviation to join our national aviation team. This role may assist aviation clients onsite across the western United States with project oversight at sites including Denver, Phoenix and Los Angeles.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and a minimum of 15 years in construction/project management, with experience managing capital projects over $10M and knowledge of airport operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or similar designation.
• Minimum 15 years of construction and/or project management experience.
• Experience in managing capital projects/programs over $10M.
• Knowledge of airport operations, design, and construction of airport facilities.
• Experience overseeing multiple construction activities concurrently on complex capital infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management, technical oversight and leadership for all phases of aviation projects from business case to delivery.
• Guide discipline managers and contractors to address schedule, risk, and budget challenges.
• Ensure high quality outcomes exceeding client expectations across all project activities.
• Develop project-level processes, controls and governance aligned to project goals.
• Oversee engineering, pre-construction, bidding, scheduling, budgeting, systems integration and commissioning.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including airport operations, regulators and delivery partners.
• Develop and integrate the overall program schedule and related project schedules.
• Utilize earned value management to track program performance.
• Lead design/construction progress meetings and report to stakeholders.
