Job summary

AIRBORNE Tampa is seeking a Planning/Work Control support role to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations of the Planning Department and Work Control Center. You will help prepare aircraft maintenance work packages and support planning with data extraction and report generation.

Ideal candidates have aviation experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to interpret FARs, CFRs and ATA manuals. This is a hands‑on, detail‑oriented role within a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years aviation related experience or demonstrated ability to perform duties.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to interpret FARs, CFRs, ATA codes and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between Pemco Planning and partner customers’ planning departments.
• Extract and build database information to support work packages.
• Load and publish reports using computer-based tools.
• Coordinate and control job cards before sending to production.
• Use job data and technical documents to meet schedules.
• Perform clerical duties and enter data in systems.
• Evaluate customer project schedules for tooling or equipment needs.
• Collect blueprints and maintenance manuals to accompany job cards.
• Support process improvements within the department.
• Assist Planning staff as needed.
