Job summary

AirNet II LLC, part of the Kalitta family, is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic at Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK) in Columbus, OH. You will lead aircraft maintenance, inspections, and avionics, coordinating personnel, schedules, estimates, and materials to keep aircraft mission ready.

Work runs 7:00am–4:00pm with overtime and on-call support as needed. Strong focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance is required, with a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• 5+ years of diversified fixed-wing civil aircraft maintenance experience preferred, including 2+ years on company aircraft or same aircraft type.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office for electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Lead avionics technicians and assist the Lead Mechanic with inspections and maintenance.
• Prioritize and assign work based on qualifications and aircraft needs.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and monitor daily progress to improve processes while ensuring safety and quality.
• Ensure materials and spare-parts are available and manage purchasing, shipping, and inventory.
