Job summary

DataVox is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Programmer to join the Audio-Visual Department in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will program integrated AV systems and create intuitive GUIs, with hands-on experience across Crestron, Extron, QSYS, and related platforms.

This role includes troubleshooting complex AV issues and providing field support from installation through project closeout. You will collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managers to deliver reliable control

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial AV installation experience.
• 1–2 years of commissioning and programming AV systems.
• CTS/CTS-I certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of Crestron/Extron/QSYS control systems.

Responsibilities

• Program integrated AV systems (Crestron, QSYS, Extron, and others).
• Create GUIs for touch panels (Crestron, QSYS, Extron).
• Configure and tune audio systems (Biamp, Shure, QSYS).
• Provide field support and technical guidance to installation staff.
• Assist with commissioning and testing to meet quality standards.
