Job summary

Abile Group is seeking an experienced AV Systems Engineer to design, install, and maintain user-facing and data center AV solutions. The role involves coordinating with IT to ensure secure, integrated AV operations and providing end-user training for optimal system use.

The candidate should have 5+ years in AV design/installation, a Bachelor's in AV Technology or related field, and be eligible for TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance. Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in AV systems design, installation, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements AV systems including video conferencing, digital signage, and presentation systems.
• Installs, configures, and maintains AV equipment such as projectors, displays, sound systems, and control systems.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex AV issues in a timely manner.
• Manages AV network infrastructure and ensures integration with existing IT systems.
• Plans and executes AV system upgrades and migrations.
• Provides training to end-users on AV equipment operation and best practices.
• Develops and maintains documentation for AV system configurations and processes.
• Collaborates with IT teams to ensure AV systems align with overall technology strategy.
• Manages inventory of AV equipment and coordinates with vendors for procurement and maintenance.
• Ensures AV systems comply with security protocols and accessibility standards.
• Stays current with emerging AV technologies and recommends improvements to existing systems.
