Job summary

Futurian Systems LTD in Dallas–Fort Worth seeks a Senior AV / Smart Home Integration Technician to lead installations, commissioning and client acceptance for luxury residential and commercial projects. You will install, configure, test, and troubleshoot integrated systems in demanding environments.

You will work with Control4, Crestron, Savant, URC and networking platforms, interpret drawings, document configurations, and collaborate with engineering and project teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in residential or commercial AV integration, smart home automation, or related low‑voltage technology systems.
• Advanced IP networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, managed switches, wireless networking, and network troubleshooting.
• Independent technical troubleshooting: diagnose and resolve complex AV, automation, networking, and control‑system issues without continuous engineering assistance.
• Hands‑on experience installing, configuring, commissioning, and servicing integrated audio/video and automation systems.
• Working knowledge of control systems such as Control4, Crestron, Savant, URC, or comparable platforms.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment schedules, and system documentation.
• Proficiency using diagnostic equipment, manufacturer documentation, and technical support resources.
• Strong understanding of audio/video signal flow, equipment integration, structured cabling, and system commissioning.

What You'll Do

As a senior member of our technical team, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting sophisticated integrated technology systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Previous experience as a lead technician, senior field technician, or commissioning specialist.
