Job summary

TradeSTAR, Inc. in Texas is seeking an experienced AV Service Technician to install, service, and maintain audio-visual systems across commercial environments. You will manage work orders, update the work management platform, and train clients to maximize the use of their systems.

The role requires 2–5+ years of AV installation experience, knowledge of system layout, testing and commissioning, and a safety-focused mindset. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience installing and servicing A/V systems in a commercial environment.
• Experience with audio installation, system layout, testing, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with Bi-Amp or Crestron systems is a plus.
• AVIXA CTS certification preferred but not required.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Valid driver s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and install A/V systems with little to no supervision.
• Pull, identify, and label cables and wires for audio/video signals, and install necessary support structures.
• Oversee system documentation, testing, and final commissioning.
• Train clients on the use of their A/V systems.
• Communicate daily on work orders and update the work order management platform.
