Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 15+ years of embedded software experience with emphasis on AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive.
• Strong knowledge of CAN, LIN and Ethernet networks.
• Familiarity with ASPICE, SDLC and V‑model processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide real‑time, hands‑on triage, debugging, and reproduction of AUTOSAR ECU issues.
• Perform in‑person code, configuration, and design reviews for AUTOSAR BSW, MCAL, RTE and application layers.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and ensure no regressions per quality standards.
• Facilitate cross‑module technical discussions to resolve ownership across AUTOSAR stacks.
• Collaborate with systems, electrical, and validation teams to define software requirements.
• Ensure seamless ECU integration across CAN, LIN and Automotive Ethernet networks.
• Promote AUTOSAR best practices in architecture, configuration management, and reuse.
• Mentor senior engineers on AUTOSAR concepts and implementation patterns.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Technical Expert specializing in AUTOSAR-based ECU platforms. This role is focused on Classic/Adaptive AUTOSAR architecture, BSW, MCAL, and ECU-level software integration within complex vehicle network topologies. The role combines deep hands‑on troubleshooting with architectural leadership and cross‑team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real‑time, hands‑on support to engineering teams for triage, debugging, and reproduction of AUTOSAR ECU issues.
• Perform in‑person code, configuration, and design reviews for AUTOSAR BSW, MCAL, RTE, and application layers with internal and supplier teams.
• Guide issue root‑cause analysis and resolution, ensuring no regressions and compliance with quality standards.
• Lead cross‑module technical discussions to resolve ownership issues across AUTOSAR stacks, MCAL, and application teams.
• Work closely with systems, electrical, vehicle integration, and validation teams to define clear software requirements.
• Ensure seamless ECU integration across CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet networks.
• Promote best practices in AUTOSAR architecture, configuration management, validation, and reuse.
• Mentor senior engineers on AUTOSAR concepts, architecture, and implementation patterns.
• Support long‑term AUTOSAR roadmap and platform strategy, aligned with product and business needs.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of embedded software experience, with strong emphasis on:
  • o AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive
  • o BSW architecture and configuration
  • o MCAL and low-level drivers
• Deep understanding of AUTOSAR methodology, tooling, and workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with AUTOSAR authoring tools (DaVinci, SystemDesk, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of vehicle architectures and automotive networking (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• End-to-end experience with SDLC and V‑model development.
• Solid understanding of ASPICE and automotive product development processes.
• Ability to work onsite full‑time.
• Strong communication, leadership, and technical influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience across multiple vehicle ECUs and domains (Body, Chassis, Powertrain, ADAS).
• Experience with functional safety (ISO 26262) concepts and ASIL‑based development.
• Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity principles (ISO/SAE 21434).
• Scripting experience (Python, Shell) and exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
